The Master’s Program in Women’s and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary, research-oriented program. It aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of gender discourse and research across various disciplines, equip them with specialized methodologies, and foster a complex understanding of gendered realities and how structural gender dynamics shape our daily lives.

The curriculum emphasizes the theoretical intersections between various disciplines and Gender Studies, delving into the unique methodologies and epistemologies of gender research. The program covers a wide array of core topics within the academic field of Women’s and Gender Studies.

Graduates gain a nuanced critical perspective that prepares them for advanced academic research (Ph.D. level) as well as diverse professional trajectories. Career opportunities include roles as gender advisors for private companies, specialists in gender equality units across government ministries and public sector organizations required to implement gender mainstreaming (e.g., the IDF, Ministry of Education, and municipal authorities), or leadership roles in non-governmental and civil society organizations driving social change.
